Required IntelliTrack Features

The role of the logged-in user must include the Integrate featureThis feature grants access to the Import/Export Utility and the Plugin Host Utility. It is available in edit mode and read-only mode. Access to this feature enables the Tools > Install Import/Export Utility option and the Install Import Export Utility page. This page contains the Import/Export Utility installer. It also enables the Tools > Install Plugin Host Utility option and the Plugin Host Utility page. This page contains the Plugin Host Utility installer. and the IntelliTrack for QuickBooks Desktop featureThis feature grants full access to IntelliTrack for QuickBooks Desktop. When the role of the logged-in user contains this feature, the user is able to activate the plugin from the Plugin Host Utility and set up data sharing between QuickBooks Desktop and IntelliTrack. in order to use the IntelliTrack Plugin for QuickBooks. To make sure that you have access to the IntelliTrack Plugin Host Utility and the IntelliTrack QuickBooks Plugin, follow the steps below to check the features in your IntelliTrack user role.

  1. Select Security > Role Management. The Role Management page appears.
  2. At the Role Management page, find your user role and select the Edit icon.
  3. The Edit Role form for the selected role appears. The Features area of the form lists the features found in this role.

  1. You MUST HAVE ACCESS to these features in order to log into the Plugin Host Utility and the IntelliTrack QuickBooks Plugin.
  2. To use the Plugin’s inventory and order processing features, the role of the logged-in user must have these features enabled in IntelliTrack:
    1. Consumable Inventory
    2. Inventory Adjustment
    3. Inventory View
    4. Items
    5. Lookups
    6. Picking Orders
    7. Receiving Orders
