Installation Troubleshooting - Error 1001
If you encounter an Error 1001 during Plugin Host Utility installation perform the following steps to install the Plugin Host Utility on the PC:
- When the Error 1001 message appears onscreen, during the Plugin Host Utility installation, click OK to close the message.
- A IntelliTrack Plugin Host message appears to notify you one or more of the files to restore your computer to its previous state could not be found. Click OK to close this message.
- An Installation Incomplete window appears to notify you that the IntelliTrack Plugin Host could not be installed. Click Close to exit the installer.
- Before restarting the installer, you must go to the following location on your computer: C:\Program Data\IntelliTrack\ IntelliTrack Plugin Host. Please note that the Program Data folder is hidden by default. You must opt to view the hidden folders in Windows Explorer in order to reach this folder.
- Select the IntelliTrack Plugin Host folder and right-click to view the right-click menu.
- Click the Properties selection from the right-click menu to view the Plugin Host Properties form.
- At the Plugin Host Properties form, click the Security tab to bring it to the front. A Windows Security message appears to notify you that the permissions on the Plugin Host are incorrectly ordered.
- Click the OK button.
- A Windows Security message appears onscreen again. It notifies you that the permissions on the Plugin Host are incorrectly ordered.
- Click the Reorder button to order the permissions correctly.
- The Permissions for the Plugin Host form appears. Click OK to close it.
- You are returned to the Plugin Host Properties form. Click OK to close it.
- Restart the IntelliTrack Plugin Host installer again. This time, the installation should complete successfully.
